Labour Law
All legal relations between employers and workers are regulated in the German labour law. In terms of content, labour law is divided into individual labour law and collective labour law. Individual labour law regulates the legal relations between employees and employers, for example by determination of the working time or a lay-off protection. Collective labour law regulates the relationship of multiple employees as a collective (for instance a works council or a labour union) to one or more employers (trade association).
